Overview
Tamang heritage trail is a new and attractive destination for the tourists, located between Langtang and Ganesh Himal, the newly opened walking trail was before a restricted area for trekkers. In this trail, you trek through Tamang villages with its life, culture and crafts, unchanged since the beginning of the settlement. The region has densely populated Tibetan origin groups called Tamang. This region follows the Tibetan tradition. It offers you wilderness experience through beautiful landscapes of alpine terrain, flat meadows and rhododendron forests. You will also have a great view of snow capped mountains like Langtang Kirung, Ganesh Himal, Tibetan mountains and other peaks. Trekkers also get chance to discover the route history of the Tibetan ancestors.
