Overview
Gosaikunda Lake is the site for a great pilgrimage. This place is famous for the Hindus and the Buddhists. You will have a scenic walk though this trekking trail. This trek combines the remote and spectacular hidden valleys of Langtang with the holy lake of Gosaikunda. The lake remains frozen for six months in winter, October to June. During a full moon in August, thousand of Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims visit the holey lake. Gosaikunda lake trekking features attraction ranging from beautiful alpine scenery to the magnificent Himalayan panorama. This trek also offers ever greenery like Pine and various types of Rhododendron forest, Rhesus monkeys and Red Pandas.
