Upper Mustang, with topography and culture resembling Tibet has many unique features and attractions. The trek passes through high peaks, passes, glaciers and alpine valleys. The thousands years of isolation has kept the culture, lifestyle and heritage remain unchanged for centuries and up to this date. The high desert region of the Tibetan influence, Kaligandaki from the Tibetan border south to Kagbeni is generally referred to as Upper Mustang. Fly to Jomsom and then trek to Kagbeni.
Trek from Kagbeni to Chele.
Trek from Chele to Gheling.
Trek from Cheling to Tsarang.
Tsarang to Lo Manthang.
Explore day in Lo Manthang.
Trek from Lo Manthang to Dhakmar.
Trek from Dhakmar to Yamda.
Trek from Yamda to Chhuksang.
Trek from Chhuksang to Muktinath.
Trek back to Jomsom.
Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara.
