Mustang Tiji Festival (19 Days)

Mustang is actually a part of the Tibetan plateau, and is high, dry and beautiful. Mustang is a remote, semi-independent Tibetan kingdom within the territory of Nepal, and one of the last bastions of undistributed Tibetan culture in the world. This is one of the most popular trekking destinations for the traveler who would like to explore ancient monasteries and caves in a remote area and a beautiful landscape. Tiji festival is a three day annual ritual, centered on the Tiji myth which is also known as the chasing of the demons. This festival tells the story of a deity named Dorje Jono who combated against his devil father to save the kingdom of Mustang from devastation.

Day 04: Fly to Jomsom and trek to Kagbeni.
Day 05: Trek to Chele.
Day 06: Trek to Geling.
Day 07: Trek to Charang.
Day 08: Trek to Lo Manthang via Lho Gekar and Ghar Gompa.
Day 09: Tiji festival day 1.
Day 10: Tiji festival day 2.
Day 11: Tiji festival day 3.
Day 12: Trek to Ghami.
Day 13: Trek to Samar.
Day 14: Trek to Chhuksang.

Day 16: Fly to Pokhara.
